JG is a 10 year year old red roan gelding that is as solid as they come. His duties for the last 6 years have been tagging baby calves in the spring, doctoring grass calves in the summer, weaning and preg checking in the fall. He rides quiet in the pasture and crosses water, mud, or rough terrain with no objection. You can back JG in the head box or heel box and he knows the drill. It doesn’t matter how long he sets, when you saddle him up there is no silliness. He rides the same any day of the week. He’s been wrapped up in ropes and had baby calves up underneath him and he just stands there and knows not to panic. He will keep the rope tight while doctoring a yearling as well. He’s ready for the spring brandings for any age of rider or if your looking for a safe trail horse, he’s your man. He has clean x rays and is 100% sound.
