I have one of the few and far between hard to find kind. A retired, broke to death, soldier of a ranch gelding that I would like to home with the perfect child. He is 17 years old and is a gentle giant standing 16 hands with huge bone. This is the type of gelding everyone searches for to start their kids on. The kind that creates good experiences and builds confidence. He’s seen the world many times over. He got made the right way and kept a full time job on the Waggoner. He’s done his time and has earned his retirement and is the perfect candidate to raise ranch kids. He takes the very best care with the little ones in the middle of his back and babysits through deep water, boggy ground and around cattle. Arena, ranch or trail safe. He is not spooky in the slightest and has more tolerance than I’ve ever seen. He’s had his teeth floated, has a current coggins and has his feet freshly done. He gets lubrisyn and is pampered daily. We LOVE this gelding and if our daughter didn’t already have a retired soldier of her own already he would never leave. He is worth his weight in gold and deserves the very very best.
