“Rico” is a 6yr old grade gelding.

He stands at 14.3 & weighs in at around 1100lbs.

This gentle guy has been used in all areas of ranch work.

From catching & leading in rough country, to dragging calves, to packing a pregnant ranch wife around to check fence. Rico is a true ranch horse that you can depend on for any job. He isn’t your typical weekend warrior, his vast experience as a ranch horse truly is unmatched by most. He does very well being turned out and he is extremely easy to shoe.



He has a very gentle mindset and much more WHOA than go. He’s already proven himself as a family ranch horse, but it wouldn’t take much to finish him as a heel horse or be your perfect trail riding partner! We have never had an issue with his soundness, but all vet checks are welcomed at buyers expense.
