Description:
We are looking to hire a couple IMMEDIATELY to work at our horse facility. A couple that works well together is mandatory. We have expanded our number of properties and are in need of more help. This is a very nice large facility with multiple barns and stalls and outside pens as well. If you’re not willing to work hard and be dedicated then this isn’t the place for you. It isn’t an 8 to 5 job and it requires a lot of work hours. The job includes feeding, watering, cleaning stalls, keeping the alleyways clean, putting blankets on and off the horses, general cleanup, mowing, yard work, keeping the offices clean, repairs and any other duties needed around the place. The wife should be experienced enough to help bathe and groom horses. Putting horses on the hot walker will also be one of the duties. You would also sometimes help assist in our horse events such as parties, carriage rides and weddings. There is no riding involved. This is a full time long term live in position. There are living accommodations with all bills paid included with a weekly salary. We are very family oriented and everyone here gets along. We are drama free and want to stay that way. We laugh, joke and have fun every day. We are seeking a couple with a good work ethic, willing attitude and the drive to keep things looking nice. If you’re not willing to be dedicated and ready to work immediately this isn’t the position for you. YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE HANDLING HORSES. STALL CLEANING EXPERIENCE IS A REQUIREMENT AS WELL. We also have cows so cattle experience is also a plus but not required. References required.
