Description:
Askin Land and Livestock is currently accepting applications for Herdsman positions in Wyoming and Nebraska. We manage some of the industry’s best ranches using intensive grazing principles. Compensation includes housing and a very competitive benefits package. Regular work includes day-to-day management of Cow/Calf pairs and Stocker Cattle during the summer, as well as some Sheep handling. The primary responsibilities entail adherence to a grazing plan, keeping animals in their correct location, and regular checking on the health and welfare of livestock. We sometimes have deep snow and feed hay in the winter. We are looking for team members who prefer long-term employment, in a professional situation on a growing, progressive, out-of-the-box ranch.
