I have a very special pony that I’d like to pair with a very special kid.



If you’re the parent of a bold, crazy, fearless, confident, daring cowboy kid call me, I have your pony!



“Nester” is a very special pony. He’s had a rough past and has some holes because of it, but he is absolute gold and has a heart of gold. He is a 6 year old silver grulla and stands 38” tall.



Positives….

• He rides great! No buck, no run off, no sour habits. Very soft in the mouth. Walks and trots with ease. Would probably lope with a confident kid. Stops good and backs easily. Has been ridden lots of miles outside and in the arena both. He’s been around cattle and rides just as good out in the open country as he does in the arena.

• He is STUNNING! He has one of the best manes and the coolest colors I’ve ever seen on one.

• He is good to trim his feet. No kicking, no biting, no pawing.

• Stands to be saddled and bridled. Stands to be mounted and dismounted.

• He stands tied very well and trailers well.

• He is very very sweet.



Negatives….

• He is scared on the ground. He has not been treated well and this is a result of that. He is not mean about it. He doesn’t try to hurt you he just moves to get away from you if he’s nervous or scared. This just makes him not safe for small beginner level children.

• If you keep him in a small stall you can catch him. If you keep him in a larger trap you’ve got to rope him. Once you rope him you walk right up to him and halter him no problems. Once you have him he’s really very very sweet and actually loves petting and attention very much.



He has improved drastically in his time here with me in regards to his fear and I’m confident he will continue to improve once he finds and bonds with his kid. If you go about your business as if he’s not concerned about anything he does better and better, but his best qualities are without a doubt his riding, his sweet personality & his stunning looks!
