Description:
Payday is an 8 year old quarter pony gelding that stands 13.2h and is guaranteed sound. He is put together right, wears that pretty dark bay, and has plenty of cow in him. He has done all ranch work from gathering rough country and dragging calves to doctoring yearlings. He’s been started breakawaying calves and on the heel side. In the video, these were the first calves he had ran in over a year. He is ready to be finished and should make a jam up calf or heel horse pretty quick. His only downfall is that he can be pretty watchy, but he has absolutely zero buck in him. He does not want to hurt you at all, but if your kid can’t ride you do not need him. The more he’s rode the easier he is to get along with. He has a ton of potential and I am confident that in the right hands he could be a super nice rope horse that will last for several years. Most of the hard work has been done; he just needs finished and hauled.
