J&J Taylor Cattle company is a family owned and operated progressive cattle ranching operation. We have vertically integrated the ranching process by directly controlling our product from raising the animal all the way to the sales and delivery of products to the consumer. Beef cattle are our business and all-natural beef....straight of the ranch is our passion.



We are looking for a special individual who is passionate about beef cattle production. A foundation in basic beef cattle production, hay production, and a good working attitude is important! This exciting role will offer opportunities to work in many aspects of the business.



Job duties

Cattle herd management

Maintaining ranch infrastructure

Assisting in summer hay production

All cattle work is done horseback so some horse experience is a plus.



Job Requirements

Proven ability to learn quickly in a dynamic and fast moving environment

Demonstrate knowledge of beef cattle production

High standard of quality

Ideally suited for college students.



The internship starts June 1 and will last for 10 weeks. This is an on-site internship where housing will be provided. Additionally, the intern will receive a stipend every two weeks for the duration of the internship.
