Crockett is a good looking, cool colored red roan gelding. Crockett has a flaxen mane and tail that makes him very unique. He is extremely fancy broke and gentle! He is well bred and has more heart and try than most horses I’ve ever seen. He literally has a heart the size of Texas. I believe you will see that as you watch his video.

Crocket is one of my favorite horses that we own. He is such of a pleasure to ride and be around. Crockett is an ideal World Series head horse because of his size, strength, and quickness. Crockett has a lot of rate and a move in the corner that feels unbelievable! He is strong to the horn and faces so fast. Crockett has also had calves roped on him.

If roping isn’t your passion, Crockett brings so much more to the table than just being a rope horse. He has a sliding stop, turns around and will really watch a cow. Crockett is sure footed and gentle. He is also great on the trails, he crosses water, and has been exposed to various wildlife. He rides on a loose rein and is never a horse that you have to pull on.

We have rode him in the deserts of Arizona, to the mountains of New Mexico and on the plains of Texas. Saddle Crockett on a cold morning and ride off with no problems. Crockett is gentle enough for kids to ride and gather cattle! He is as good of a ranch horse as we have owned. He makes everything a pure pleasure to do whether it is gathering cattle, sorting, or dragging calves to the fire.

Time off doesn’t bother Crockett one bit. He always is aiming to please. I can not stress how good this horse is in every aspect. There isn’t much that he can’t or won’t do!

Crockett is an own son of Once In A Blu Boon. Once In A Blu Boon has won $318,012.34 in the NCHA. He has produced $7,214,848.
