This gelding is a true class act. Standing 15 hands with a big bald face and four white legs, he has chrome for days! We have owned Curly for 4 years and it’s always a good day in his world. He’s been so easy to train from day one and has always been a gentleman and 100% kind. He’s safe for any level of rider and not spooky in any way. Curly has a good reining foundation with an amazing lope on a draped rein, solid spins, big stops and an easy lead change. He’s a gorgeous mover and would excel in Ranch Riding and Versatility events. He’s push style and would assume go slow. Curly has that puppy dog personality and will follow you around looking for attention. He loves people and is always wants to please. He has impeccable ground manners and is quiet minded. Curly is an own son of Spooks Gotta Gun, World Champion, NRHA Triple Crown Champion Sire and producer of nearly $3 million. Unlike many horses with this breeding and markings, Curly is fully hearing. He has lived outside for years in AZ and his white face doesn’t sunburn. Curly has been exposed to everything on our TX ranch to our AZ ranch and everything in-between. He was buddies with our camel, Clyde and is accustomed to wild dogs, pot belly pigs, buffalo, prehistoric looking longhorns, and desert wildlife. He is good with gunfire, traffic, motorcycles, heavy machinery and blowing tarps. Curly is always 100% safe. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body and will take good care of his rider in and out of the arena. He’s bombproof out on the trails and willingly goes right where you send him. He’s good with deep water, thick brush, mud, mountainous terrain, wide open spaces, and easily navigates around all the prickly desert cactus. We have roped on Curly, used him in the sorting pens and gathered cattle too. He ground ties where you drop a rein, will side pass to open all the gates, and stands tied quietly.
