Suede is the whole package… registered, great pedigree, good minded, fancy broke, gentle, athletic, sweet, 15.1, stout, big boned and ready to go in any direction you choose. He rides around cool with enough feel that makes him easy to train on. He’s soft in the face, flexes both ways, carries his head level, neck reins, spins, moves off your leg, picks up his leads, lopes perfect circles and has a good stop. He has a jog and lope that is absolutely awesome. He rides good in both the indoor and outdoor arenas. He’s been started tracking and roping the dummy. He will make a jam up head horse if you wanted to continue in that direction with his training. He really wants to please his rider and do everything you ask of him.

Suede is a great choice to use on your ranch. Go gather and pen your cows on him. You can ride him in big country and he’ll long trot for miles or kick him into a short lope. Drive cattle up the alleys on him and load trucks. He’s content if you want to ride out for hours checking your fences. He’s had some colts ponied off him. He has not been roped on in the pasture yet to our knowledge.

Suede is also game to mosey down the trail with you to enjoy a family trail ride. He’s not hot in any way and is content to go at the pace you want. He’s no stranger to picking his way through the brush. He will go up and down the hills. He crosses water without an issue. He’s good riding in a group but he’s also comfortable to ride out alone. We’ve ridden him at the Fort Worth Stockyards and he was great. We’ve also ridden him down the highway.

This is the kind of horse that everyone is searching for and he checks all the boxes if you’re looking for a horse that can make a performance mount, one to use on your ranch or just a beautiful talented trail horse. He’s got all the components to do anything you want to. He does all the things he should like stand for the shoer, stands tied, bathes, loads and hauls.
