Description:
We’re currently looking for a ranch hand to help on our family ranch in Southeast Oregon. The job mostly consists of working cows horseback, doctoring calves, checking wells and pipelines, a little bit of fence, and feeding hay in the winter. The summer allotment is big and open, so most of the summer will be spent on a four wheeler doctoring with a dart gun, moving cows, and hauling salt. You’ll be working alone a lot of the time.

A four bedroom house is provided, along with a four wheeler, ranch pickup, and horse trailer. We’ll feed three horses. Good dogs are welcome to use on the desert. Beef is provided and competitive pay.

We’d like to find someone long term. This is a good potential job for an older gentleman or family man. There’s lots of free time in the winter, and home midafternoon most summer days.
