Lil Sweet Hickory is a uniquely and lovely colored buckskin roan filly. This is a very nice AQHA yearling filly out of our breeding program that has been an eye catcher since day one.

Shasta as we call her has always been friendly and inquisitive, she’s a smooth mover and athletic, and with an outstanding pedigree with $1,204,890+ earnings of proven performers alone on her papers in cutting, cow horse, roping and barrels. She’s got good bone and muscle, straight legs, and a nice head. A lot of feel but an easy going disposition, and has been handled a lot by kids and adults. Shasta is easy to catch, halter broke, loads, ties without fussing, good with her feet, and has good ground manners. She’s easy to work with and retains her training. This filly will have a lot of cow sense, the power to come out of the roping box, the speed for barrels, will make anyone a solid ranch horse, or a great addition to your breeding program.

From you winning checks or gold buckles, this filly will be your go to horse in the years to come be it in the arena or on the ranch. We started/trained both her sire and dam, and they have made excellent ranch and arena horses.
