Shotgun Annie Q29

Annie hasn’t been used as much as some of the other horses that we’re offering

here on the Gold Buckle Sale Site but she’s been amazing every time she’s been

ridden. Annie is by “When The Eagle Flys”. She’s started on cattle… she is

smooth, fast and VERY cowy! Annie has a huge stop and is really athletic! She

too is MY type of horse. She hadn’t been touched for 2 years, I got her in….did

some ground work, threw a saddle on her and she was great! She hopped

around (just a very little-maybe 1/2 the way around the round pen), then Mitchell

climbed on her and she was magnificent. Mitchell asked this mare for a little

extra. He sped her up and before you knew it, she was loping circles & turning

back on the fence…turning back with power and grace. The next day Mitchell

was going to help Caleb & Rowly gather some cattle. He grabbed her out of the

pasture, saddled her up and they were off. He spent all morning gathering and

the rest of the afternoon sorting on her. She was a trooper!

Since then we’ve been using & riding her. She has NOT disappointed! You can

now just saddle her up and head out. She’s very very easy. She follows a lead

steer and is ready for the arena. She lopes really pretty circles and getting to

where her turn arounds are better everyday. Remember now, this mare has

been turned out for 2 years yet she seems like most people’s horses they’ve

been riding for months.

Annie is very smart and very personable. She’s very eager to please and does

just that! Talk about a stop??? This mare can REALLY STOP! She stops hard

without even trying.

If anyone is looking for ANY type of horse, this is one I really like. She’s great on

the trails, working cattle, sure footed, cowy & athletic. She would make an

amazing Head horse, heel horse, breakaway horse, calf horse or just pleasure &

trail riding horse. She does it all and does it all well!

This mare is very spectacular in my eyes and really my type of horse…although,

since I raised em all, they’re pretty much ALL my types of horse! …But who’s

counting? LOL. Whomever buys this mare is gonna be VERY happy with her.

This mare too is RIATA BUCKLE ELIGIBLE for the Millions of Dollars offered

up in November at the Lazy E Arena in Oklahoma!
