Looking for the real deal ranch horse, that you can step on and go get the job done anytime? We’ll look no further! Vern is a 10 year old well made gelding standing 15 hands weighing 1100 pounds. He is made well and has the classiest looks. Vern is gentle & good minded!! Ranch horse deluxe! Big, shapey registered AQHA gelding. 10 years old, 15 hands weighing 1100 pounds. Vern has been used for all aspects of ranch work. He knows what a hard day of work is like. We have used him at the cow sale, day work on him weekly, doctoring sick cattle, loading trucks, branding & checking pastures. We have roped a bunch of cattle out in the pasture and he will get you to them and work the rope as well. He’s up for any task with ease. Just pull him out and go! He’s been rode in the mountains and in rocky terrain and handles it well. He has a big heart and will go all day long! He rides around nice in the arena, walk, trot, lopes and stops well. He is super broke with a good handle on him. He so started on the heel side & we have heeled on him quite a bit at home, he has a lot of run and a big stop. He has extensive outside miles and has seen lots of country! He crosses water, bridges, has been to town with the traffic and commotion and doesn’t look at a thing!! He’s very easy going! He’s turned out with 5 other geldings and gets along great with everyone. He’s easy to catch and any EXTREMELY easy keeper. If you’re looking for an honest gelding to just jump on and do ANYTHING on, Vern is your guy! He is great to shoe, hauls next to mares or geldings in the stock trailer & stands tied to the trailer overnight. We have hauled him everywhere with no troubles.
