Cow/calf operation in Northern Arizona



Requirements:

Reliable

Hard working

Drivers license

Good attitude

Physically fit, able to lift 100lbs

Responsible

Self starter/independent can work alone & get the job done

Follow directions & ask questions if needed

No drinking on the job!



Basic ranch experience needed, will train how I expect the work to be done! Cattle experience a plus! Handyman/woman is a plus!



Duties include:

Repairing & building fence

Moving & gathering cattle

Working/processing cattle

Hauling water & feeding hay

Putting out salt (50lb blocks)

Driving trucks, hauling cattle

Helping with calving & doctoring cattle

Checking gates & cattle

General upkeep & maintenance



Most importantly willing to work and learn!

This is a 1099 independent contractor job. Need to do a 30 day trial to start. It’s a physically challenging outside job, gets below zero in the winter & near 100 degrees in the summer. Some days are long and hard but not everyday.

Perks: Beef(after 30 days) Fuel paid for. Alfalfa hay for your horse(after 30 days) You get to work out in beautiful country! Seeing wildlife!

Housing options available. Will pay rent in town, a bedroom, travel trailer or remote (off grid) ranch house(needs work)about 30 miles from town. Optimal candidate would have their own trailer & be willing to live remote.
