Description:
RCH AG, LLC is a family owned cattle, farming, and seed growing operation. We currently run approximately 425 cow/calf pairs and a replacement heifer herd of about 100 head.



We are looking for a long term employee to manage our cattle herds independently and take over all of the day to day ranching operations to allow my brother and me to focus on the farming aspects of the company. This person must be 100% committed to taking care of the cow herds. We use feed trucks and ATVs to call/drive cattle, no horses.



Duties Include, but not limited to:

•Herd & Pasture Management

•Calving out heifers

•Working/Shipping Cattle

•Diagnose and treat livestock

•Feeding

•Hay making

•Fence construction/maintenance

•Maintenance of Equipment



Qualifications

•7 Years Cow/Calf Experience

•Valid Driver’s License, CDL is a plus

•Knowledgeable of herd nutrition

•Operate haying and feeding equipment

•Operate or be willing to learn to operate pull type sprayers

•Work independently and be a motivated, self-starter

•Strong work ethic, expect to work 45-55 hrs/week depending on season

•Work in all weather conditions
