Taxi is a 10 year old, 13.3 gelding that gets the Shining A Horses block of approval because he is a true unicorn. Taxi is your next do it all horse and is one of the friendliest horses you could ever be around! We cannot say enough good things about this spectacular, well rounded gelding. Taxi came off a huge ranching operation in west Texas and is truly a finished ranch horse. He’s done just about every ranch chore you can imagine. This gelding has seen some of the roughest country and handles it like a champ. Taxi has been used to rope and doctor cattle in the pasture and will drag/stop anything you rope! He’s drug calves to the branding fire and we have even breakawayed a few out of the box! He’s got a lot of cow sense with a big motor to back him up! Not only is this gelding a fantastic using horse he is absolutely gentle and very very broke! Taxi has a flawless one hand neck rein, picks up both leads with ease, side passes, stops on dime, and will even ride with no bridle as he is very easy to operate! Taxi has been used by all ages and enjoys everyone’s attention! He is the perfect step-up horse for a lil cowboy or cowgirl who has outgrown their beginner pony, Taxi will give it his all for them everyday of the week. This gelding has the personality of a big puppy dog and has all the patients in the world. Taxi has been rode through the water and over every obstacle you can think of. He’s been ridden down the busy streets, around tractors, dogs, atvs etc.. and nothing phases him. We have carried flags, tarps, balloons, he’s loads, ties, clips, and even rides like a dream bareback!!! This is just a kind gelding that’s ready for a new job!
