Meet Larry!

This guy is truly the specimen of an old soul in a young body. He’s the perfect size to fit a lot of people. He has been ridden by a lot of different levels of riders from the youth kids all the way to the older folks. This guy has done a lot in a short time. He rides very well and is super broke. He neck reins, will ride 2 handed, flexes both ways, moves off your leg, 2 tracks, picks up his leads, lopes nice circles and stops good. He rides quietly in the arena. He tracks live steers and the dummy around and would make someone a neat little heel horse. He’s super willing to ride outside and gather cows or move them pasture to pasture. He’s cool to go trot big pastures on looking for strays. You can push cows up the alley and load trucks on him.

Larry has already logged lots of trail miles and he’s ready to hit any trail with you today. He will ride through the brush. He crosses water without an issue. He will maneuver up and down hills. He crosses bridges and will walk over logs. He’s been on overnight camping trips and will tie to the picket line. He’s seen joggers, ATV’s, bicycles, deer and not really worried about any of it. He’s been ridden down the streets at the Fort Worth Stockyards and is very traffic safe. The crazy commotion doesn’t bother him, the crowds don’t bother him. He’s not even bothered riding next to the train.

He stands for the shoer. He ties, bathes and stands to be groomed. He loads right in the trailer without hesitation.
