We call this stand out individual Concho! We bought him as a two yr old and for the last 3 years he has been nothing but a pleasure to ride and train. This big gelding is graceful, stylish and has as much heart as you could put in one!

Concho is extremely versatile and his resume shows it, he truly does it all! We hope you will fall in love with him as much as we have! Concho has been in a reining program, he knows all the maneuvers and would make a top notch ranch rider, ranch trail, or even a versatility horse. He is incredibly quiet, has smooth gaits, a flawless lead departure, and is always so easy going. Concho has beautiful spins, a huge stop that will surprise you coming from a horse of his size, and he lopes with the a great cadence.

I cannot tell you how much fun this horse is to ride. You will grin ear to ear the whole time! Concho has also been employed as a full time ranch horse. He has spent two winters tending to wheat pasture cattle, spring of 2021 and 2022 we branded on him and he went out on the wagon for 4 months. We have done everything you can think of from sorting and shipping cattle, dragging and branding calves, to our daughter taking him on fun rides through or little town and even trail riding him in the Palo Duro Canyon!

Concho’s real world experience make him extremely solid outside. This horse has seen everything and has no spook or foolishness at all, even if he has had a lot of time off he is still steady eddy! We have steer stopped on this horse and he shows a bright future as a head horse if that is the route you would like to go. Concho is also very sure footed, he bas been rode in the mountains with rocky and rough footing and he never falters. He will cross water, down timber, bridges, and any other obstacle with ease and confidence.

Concho is completely safe around all types of machinery, heavy traffic, dogs, and any other chaos you can think of! In my opinion this horse has an extremely bright future in any discipline you choose. His kind and willing demeanor and extensive training make Concho the perfect addition to any family or performance barn.
