Description:
Blister is a super nice Quarter Horse Mare. I have used her to pull sick calves, gather cattle, and ride with my kids. She enjoys attention and is safe on the ground. She rides nice and is willing to please. She is about 14.3 hands with a stocky build. This girl is smooth as silk! She has such nice rhythm to her trot and a great lope. She will not beat you around in the saddle. Blister is not a master of anything but she has been around a lot. No spook whatsoever. Tractor and feed mixer - no problem, semis blowing by - no worries, dead calf in the pen - no issue. She has been in a grow yard and around cattle. She has never locked on to a calf on her own, but she will move however she is told. She has not roped anything since I have had her. She leads, loads, stands tied all day by a rein, side passes both directions, works a gate, backs up, and does everything one should. Blister is willing to cross whatever I have asked of her. I’m not sure about water - we are in a drought and there isn’t any standing water around us, but she will cross mud when a tank overflows. I love riding this beautiful mare and I can’t say enough good about her. She always gets plenty of compliments.



My daughter who is 10 has ridden this horse and they got along great. She is a great trail riding mare and very enjoyable to be around. She gets along with other horses well. She has good feet. We have kept her barefoot and she has never been lame. If you are looking for a nice mare that is easy to step on, comfortable to ride, and easy to be around, consider Blister.



She is AQHA registered. I can text a picture of her papers.
