Idaho’s Historic OX Ranch is ready to offer the right candidate the unique opportunity to join our ranch crew! We are a progressive ranching operation built on and utilizing sound guiding principles to move us forward into a productive future of ranching and livestock production.



The OX Ranch is a mid-sized, cow/calf operation. We utilize horses, dogs, and ATV’s to handle cattle. We strive to implement sound stockmanship principles and techniques. This position is for an all-around person, who is willing to ride for the brand, think independently, work autonomously and as a team player, and have a positive attitude. The ranch has two separate operations for summer and winter range. Travel and/or moving twice a year is necessary.



Duties may include but are not limited to operating equipment for feeding cattle, distributing mineral, rotating cattle through pastures, riding and checking for health, roping and doctoring as needed, maintaining stock waterers, maintaining vehicles, ATV’s and equipment, fencing, trail maintenance and irrigating.



Compensation includes competitive salary, comfortable housing and utilities, health and dental, beef, and simple IRA with employer match.
