Blue Bill is a 9 yr old, 15.2 hand, 1200 lb, standout gray ranch gelding. This is a superior ranch gelding in every way, bred by Bill Smith of Spur Ranches in West Texas and carries his brands. Bill has all the looks and color you could ask for, mane down past his neck, tail to the ground, big soft eye on a sharp head and a good set of withers to hold anything you have to rope. But even more importantly Bill is a great ranch horse with lots of ability and talent and is as gentle as a puppy dog. This horse has tons of manners, meet you at the gate to be caught, and lead him off to saddle with a string around his neck. A lot of horses this gentle don’t have enough stuff to them for a cowboy to want to ranch on, Bill has the best of both worlds. He has made lots of big circles in big rough country tending plenty of cattle, has a big smooth walk and a trot that will get you to the backside, and the work ethic to not question any task. Bill has roped a lot outside and in the pen, will ride around in the arena, pretty mover, knows his leads and broke enough in the bridle that he could go to the show pen, or make a big time head horse.
