We have asked Huey to do everything under the sun and he never disappoints! His career has been in the feed yard, as well as out doctoring cattle on wheat, and he’s spent time with a reining trainer. Huey has a deep stop, fun correct spins, a super easy lead departure, and he is wine glass smooth. He naturally has a low head set and stays soft everywhere he should. Huey can also work a cow on a loose rein. He has a lot of heart and there really is nothing he cannot do and do it well! This is a well rounded, incredibly broke individual. Huey is always the first one to meet you at the gate no matter how hard you’ve been using him. He’s also the one our little ones fight over. They are 5 and 7 and anytime we go anywhere one of them is on him. Huey is the caliber of horse you could take and show, plus take sorting, pony colts on, use for all of your ranch chores, and at the end of the day still put your babies on. He has perfect ground manners, even the smallest of kiddos can drag Huey around the yard, brush him, and even help saddle and wash. He is completely safe, gentle and kind in every way shape and form. He will not get fresh with time off, and no matter what you ask him to do Huey will absolutely try it for you whole heartedly! Our family has cherished this horse since he was a baby. Anywhere we take him he is a show stopper. He truly is the whole package, Looks, talent, pedigree, training, and gentle to boot! We bought Huey off of the breeder and close family friend when he was a yearling.
