Description:
7 year old Appaloosa gelding. Grade, 15 hands, stout and wiling to go anywhere you point him. Ridden extensively on trails and in the arena. Hauls well, stalls well. Used on cattle roundups, camping, and trailed in the mountains. He will go where you point him and crosses water with ease. He was on a ranch in Texas before I got him so has been used for all phases of Ranch work. Winston is a very sweet gelding. He is big and stout and powerful. He’s not fancy with a ton of buttons but he’s broke with a lot of miles on him, he’s only 7 and has been a great confidence builder for me. I bought him while my 2 year old was still young and to rebuild my riding strength. I’d had an accident on a prior horse. Now my 2 year old is under saddle and I would love for him to go somewhere that he will have a job and his own person. I just don’t have time for two. I have had no health issues with him, he’s up to date on everything, just had his feet done two weeks ago and is barefoot sound. He’s a great traveler and does well on overnight camping trips. Adjusts well to new surroundings. He would be awesome to continue as a reliable trail/ranch/rope horse and is a big pretty mover that would make a very nice English prospect. He is willing to try whatever is asked.
