2016 red roan gelding, Smart Boons x Metallicat by Metallic Cat



Smart Metallic Boon is a big, strong gelding by the NRCHA Open Derby Champion, Smart Boons! His dam, Metallicat, is one of our resident mares that was an AQHA Open World Champion herself. This gelding has the SIZE everyone is always looking for. He was originally started by Brad Lund, and later sold to one of our customers that started him on the barrels. He has had limited riding and hauling with her due to her work schedule. He has most recently spent 60 days with Dakin Allred for a tune up and is riding around super nice. This gelding would be a great one to take home and start in the heading - he is kind, gentle and easy to operate - he will make one in no time!
