Big Blue” 5311889. Blue Roan. Foaled: 5/25/10. 16.1 hh. and is a Mack truck weighing about 1400lbs. Sire: Wyo Blue Chips by Wyo Blue Bonnet. Dam: Laramie Blue Hancock by Laramie Blues. Bloodlines going back to Leo Hancock Hayes, Plenty Try, Blues Roan Hancock & NLD Eddie Hancock. Big Blue is a big, broke, broke, true blue roan gelding. He has been trail ridden extensively in Iowa, Missouri, and Illinois by a 72-year-old man. Nice, and smooth pleasure horse gaits. He will walk, trot, lope, back, side pass, open and close gates with him, and stands to saddle and to get on. One owner for the last 8 years. Catch him anywhere, loads, shoes, ties overnight, and stalls well. Trail rider deluxe that will ride out alone or with a group. He will ride in the front, middle, or back with a group. He doesn’t care. He will cross logs, water, traffic safe, dog safe, and will go where you point him. No buck or fuss ever leaving home, even after sitting for months. He is the same horse every day. Perfect horse to pony colts with. Gets along great with other horses in the pasture. He’s got a great set of papers. His owner was 72 years old and due to his age, he had to downsize. Blue is an eye-catcher and a big puppy dog. He is 100% sound in every way.
