Description:
1000+ head cattle operation seeks experienced hand to assist in all areas of cattle and land management. Duties include feeding, monitoring, doctoring, artificial insemination, fencing, pivot and wheel line irrigating, vehicle/equipment maintenance, facilities maintenance and repair, pasture management, marketing, etc. Well qualified applicants will be resourceful, self starters who are handy with a rope and operating and fixing equipment. Must work well independently and with others and be physically able and willing to do what it takes to get the job done, even in extreme cold and windy weather conditions, while maintaining a positive attitude. Pickup cowboys, drunks, and druggies need not apply. This is a salary, year-round position, pay commensurate with experience. Non-smoking housing, utilities, phone, beef, and board for one horse included. Additional horses negotiable. Ranch is located outside beautiful Three Forks, MT with easy access to town and Bozeman.
