Description:
Seeking experienced professional cow man with an extensive background in cow/calf operation. Starting salary for such is $62,000 plus benefits including housing and insurance.



Our experience in the beef cattle industry goes back over 50 years. We work together with our ranch staff as a tight-knit team that is dedicated to helping produce profitable cattle. We are looking for a disciplined self-starter, with a minimum of 7+ years of experience in caring for livestock and ranch work.



Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Cattle handling, including sorting, moving, and working mainly cattle horseback, on foot, and ATV (your personal horses).

• Cattle nutrition, including feeding in a feedlot setting during drought months and pasture management.

• Breeding, monitoring natural service sires and including implementing AI protocols, set up to breed.

• Herd health, including treating cattle, tracking vaccine inventory, and communicating areas of concern with the team and our veterinarian. We follow the BQA protocol here at the ranch.

• Other general ranch duties, including welding, Irrigation operation, other machinery, ranch maintenance, and fencing.

• Must be able to work in all kinds of weather and lift 65 pounds.

Qualified applicants will have experience in these aforementioned areas.
