"CB Blackburn Chisum" 2020 AQHA gelding



I am 72 yrs old and had a young fellow lined up to start these 2 colts for me but he moved & I can’t find anyone else, so they are for sale & ready to work for you. These colts are ready to start & I want to sell them with-in the next month, $6,000 OBO give me a call if you are interested!



Chisum’s dam is a very stout made, wide old bull-dog type quarterhorse, she is super gentle & loves to be messed with. Chisum is pretty laid back & looks like he is going to be like her, just several inches taller. He string tests out to be between 15 -15.1h mature height. He is going through a growth spurt & is several inches taller in the hip right now (current video), neither of his parents are down hill horses. Chisum is pretty laid back, he didn’t see a reason to lope in the video so it took us several tries.



I have 2 super nice 2yr old AQHA buckskin geldings for sale. I bought them still on their dams. They spent the first winter in at the barn & learned to catch, halter, back-up, move sideways, trim feet & pony off a saddle horse. After that they have been raised on pasture running in a herd of geldings. After first winter Chisum has not been grained except for coming to the barn to be worked with, raised on good hard grass & is an easy keeper. Both of these colts are good to catch (even running out with a herd), trim, worm & handle in general & pony off of a saddle horse. I live on a river so they will pony across the river.
