"Jerzi" is a mare I have known and have been eyeballing for years! Earlier this year I finally got the opportunity to purchase her, and she is even nicer in person! This will be her first foal, as she has always been used as a riding horse. She is a very personable horse and always loves people and attention! She is easy to catch absolutely anywhere and is also easy to have in the barn. Where I am running in to trouble with her is out with our other groups of mares. Jerzi wants to be in control and lots of my mares were born and raised here, so, they are not going to let that happen with a newcomer, lol. Jerzi is great to have in the barn, turn out, alone or with others where things aren’t changing ALL THE TIME like they do here when we move mares around to foal, go to the stallion station to get bred, come back, go back out, rotate grass, etc. Jerzi has been super easy to handle in every way and for anyone! Never a buck, bolt, rear, etc under saddle! Amazing jog, gotta push into a lope, kind of lazy. She has been to 2 different trainers, seen 4 wheelers, tractors, deer, hunters shooting guns, etc. She is vet checked safe in foal (breeding date of May 27th, preg checked at 14 days, 45 days and August 29th) to the one and only, all the way from Italy, BLACK GOTTA GUN for a 2023 GUARANTEED GRULLA FOAL!
