Description:
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Meat Business Duties:

• Sell at farmers markets as needed

• Load/unload coolers and market equipment

• Set up/breakdown booth at different markets

• Handle cash and credit card transactions

• Develop new and maintain current relationships with customers

• Maintain clean, organized workspace and professional appearance at markets

• Outside Sales



Ranch Hand Duties:

• Assist Ranch Manager with livestock operation, including daily care:

o watering, feeding, grazing, herding in accordance with Holistic Management practices and practicing

stress-free handling

• Assist in tagging, castrating, and administering vaccinations to livestock

• Set up paddocks with portable electric fencing.

• Maintain farm/ranch structures, e.g. buildings, fences (electric single line, electric portable

and barbed wire)

• Operate ATVs, trucks, and other machinery/equipment



Requirements:

• At least 1-2 years of livestock experience and knowledge working on a ranch

• Must have proof of authorization to work in the United States

• Must be 18 years or older and drug-free

• Clear background check

• Must have a California Driver’s License

• Class A Commercial license a plus (but not required)

• Working weekends is required
