Description:
Deets is a 4yr old, 15.1 hand, 1200 lb, AQHA registered black but we call brown ranch gelding. This is a super gentle young ranch gelding, bred by the H Ranch in the panhandle of Texas and carries their brand. A very well bred horse with top cowhorse breeding, but the size and bone to be a ranch and rope horse. Wears a #1 shoe, big strong hip, deep girth and has a set of withers to hold anything you rope. Deets spent his 3 yr old year with friends of ours on a large reputation ranch in NM in some of the best cowboys hands out there. We bought him after their fall works and he has been used here in Texas on our ranch since then. He is one handed broke, with a big stop and works off his hind end, very cowy and will wack one. This is a really good horse to use outside, he has made plenty of big circles tending lots of cattle in big rough country. He has roped outside and in the branding pen, sorted plenty in the pens, automatic on gates and hobble broke. The perfect foundation for any performance or using horse of any discipline in our opinion.
