Description:
This is a 9 year old 14.3hh red roan quarter horse mare. Jolene is an athletic mare with a good head on her. She is easy to catch, stands tied, loads and trailers well, and stands good for the farrier. She is good both bareback and under saddle.



In the arena she is extremely laid back, nothing fazes her. She is neck reining and starting to move well off of leg pressure. At this time she is doing well at simple lead changes. In the video, crossing the poles was the first time for her at all gaits. While I am not a roper, l have thrown a rope off of her.



She has spent the last 2 months in Colorado and has been out on the trails. Out on the trails she is a bit nervous for the first 15-20 minutes then she settles right in. She has never blown up or offered to buck, just nervous.



Once again this mare does great in the arena. While being very athletic this mare is just average speed, and with a little more consistent work I think she could make a great 4-h or playday horse. I have trotted and loped her through the poles and barrels some, and she has done well. I also think she could come to excel at showing trail or ranch trail.
