One of the nicest geldings we’ve had the privilege of owning! Jo is 16 hands of solid, perfectly made Quarter horse! He will make your jaw drop when you see him in person! This gentle giant is 10 years old. He was raised and trained by a family friend and we are his second owners. Jo is your ideal all-around horse! He’s gentle every single time you step on him no matter if he’s had 2 weeks off or 2 months off. He is very trained as well. Jo has the smoothest short lope you will find on a horse his size, a big stop, and super fun spins! That’s not all Jo has those iconic ranch horse manners we all love so much, making him extra enjoyable to have in the barn! Jo has spent his whole life as a ranch horse. He is accustomed to doctoring cattle on wheat, sorting, shipping and all other ranch chores. Jo is also a proven and extremely successful head horse! He has been hauled to PRCA and amateur rodeos, World Series and USTRC. This horse has all the run you could ever need a good move and an excellent face. He is absolutely solid in the box and scores great. He has also been heeled on! Jo has also been hauled in numerous ranch rodeos. This big gorgeous hunk doesn’t have to be your rope horse though. He is incredibly broke and gentle for ANYONE! Our little girl is 5 and he will pack her around safely anywhere she asks him to go. Jo has an extra kind demeanor and would be just as perfect as your families leisure horse as he would be to haul to a team roping. It’s been a very long time since we have owned a horse this versatile. Jo is always a saint wether you crawl up on him bareback with a string on his neck and go for a job ride, or you take him to the neighbors branding pen, or go haul him to a rodeo and ask him for it all.
