Description:
2008 AQHA brown broodmare confirmed bred for a April 2023 baby. RJ Happy Partner was bred by the Rocking J ranch in Clarendon TX. Her maternal grandsire, Tenino Tough, was a stallion for the RA Brown Ranch at one time purchased from the 6666s. Further on her papers, Gold Fingers, was an AQHA champion and was bred by the RA Brown Ranch. This mare is ranch bred influenced going back further to some other known names like Poco Bueno, Wimpy, Leo, Doc Bar and Peppy San Badger. She has had 5 foals so far since 2015. She aborted her 2020 foal at 6 months for unknown reasons, so she did not breed up that year for a 2021 foal, but bred up the following breeding season and had a 2022 buckskin colt AQHA pending we also have for sale separately (Virgil). So far her foals are all friendly, big bodied and big boned foals. Her previous foals have all gone on to be ranch horses or rope horses and those owners are happy with them. We get reports of how friendly, easy going and willing they are. She is a broodmare only and was never broke to ride. She is halter broke and easy to handle and get along with once caught. She can be hard to catch in a big pasture, but once penned she is much easier. She has big black hooves. Guestimate her to stand 15.2 hands. She does have allergies here in the Hill Country of TX during the summer causing her to have those little bumps on her neck. In another part of the world she may not have these allergies. She has been AI’d and live covered. She has only foaled out in the pasture. She is a good mama and raises a nice colt. Owner has had her since 2014. He is downsizing the herd. She is not 5 panel tested. She will come with coggins, health cert (for out of state only), vaccinated, dewormed, AQHA papers and signed transfer.

The foal in her belly is a full sibling to her 2022 colt. Sire is Pitzer bred and branded stallion, Zans Poppy Two. He is a 2003 buckskin son of Audacious To A Te (Also a Pitzer Stallion). His bottom side carries Gay Bar King on his papers as well. His foals are friendly and tend to size up bigger than he is. 2022 was the first foal crop for the breeder from him, but his older foals have gone on to make nice rope and ranch horses.

If interested in her 2022 colt with her, owner will offer a package deal. Please note he is already weaned and halter broke and priced separately currently.
