Description:
Muddy Ranch exists to create a place where lives are changed by Christ. ​ We are a production agricultural operation spanning 64,000 acres of rangeland as well as 300 acres of irrigated ground. ​ We run 650 mother cows, 1,200 yearlings, harvest hay, and provide world class outdoor adventures aimed at pursuing the hearts of adults in order to further the mission of Young Life in telling kids about Jesus. ​This position would be focused on maintaining all of Muddy Ranch’s equipment. ​ We have numerous pieces of equipment including but not limited to: excavators, dozers, semi-truck, farm tractors, swather, large baler, trucks, UTV, ATV, small engines, trailers, cattle feed truck, cattle handling equipment, fire apparatus, and others. ​ This person will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all muddy ranch equipment and will work in an equipped auto shop that is shared with Washing Family Ranch’s mechanic. ​ This position will be provided a service truck as many repairs are made in the field. In addition, this position will help with our cattle and farming operation as needed including but not limited to helping move cattle, processing cattle, and some haying operations. ​

Lastly, this position will also be asked to assist in fire suppression efforts on wildland fires. ​ Experience in this is not necessary and training will be provided. ​
