She is a 4 year old dappled grey mare, cute and well built but not far off the ground at 14.1hh. Aspen is very well bred, her entire Pedigree full of Champions. She is by an own son of Playgun and out of an own daughter of Paddys Irish Whiskey. She is AQHA registered as “Paddys PG” #5882893. With some more riding she will make an excellent kids horse. She rides quietly on a loose rein and literally nothing spooks her or scares her. She has been exposed to a ton of different places and things, and acts like an old hand wherever you take her. Aspen is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and will go up, over or through anything you ask her to. She is brave, willing, and easily trainable. She is very friendly and easy to catch anywhere, good for the farrier, easy to load and haul, and doesn’t act mareish at all. Aspen can be turned out or trailered next to both mares and geldings, doesn’t mind dogs, kids, pigs, chickens, or anything else. She is smooth and has a good handle and light mouth, and is riding around really nicely. She was started late in her 3 year old year, so she has not had her legs run off of her. She is clean legged and has had no injuries. Aspen has been ridden both English and western, will carry a flag, has jumped, pushed cattle, will work a gate, sidepass, has been roped off of a handful of times, and has been ridden lots of miles out in the pasture. Aspen can be ridden by herself or with other horses, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. She has also been ridden along side the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it.
