We raised this colt out of our good bred cowhorse mare. Her dam is a big money earner! This colt who we call “Elder” is by Starlight Kat. “Elder” is a sorrel (lots of roan on his belly) well built built, sturdy made bugger. He has big round hooves, a deep girth, and short cannon bones. He’s built to last! He was started as a 2 yr old by my husband who shows non-pro. We planned on showing him as a 3 yr old. But, then we moved and our new place didn’t have an arena so we got busy building that! There is absolutely nothing wring with this colt aside from he’s just a little behind to show this summer. He knows all of the basics, is soft, picks up both leads, and has a big natural stop. “Elder” would be a great team roping, breakaway, or ranch horse prospect!! Or keep going with him and show him in the future. He’s not a bronc and wants to be kind and gentle. He has an easy going good mind about him. He is still green and is not ready to be a kid’s horse. Currently shod and in shape and ready to go! Totally sound, fat and healthy! Stands tied, loads, easy to catch, gets along with our other horses. We have him priced to sell!! Located in Homedale ID which is 50 miles west of Boise. We can help catch him a ride if needed. We have recent photos and video. I can text folks the videos.
