Mater was purchased by Cooper as a three year old to be his 4-H project. This handy sized gelding has the most trustworthy gentle nature that just wants to please his riders. Mater was started as a cutter so has a fancy handle but would much rather be used on the trail or on the ranch. Cooper has used him the last two years for calving, branding and moving cattle. Mater also packed elk this last year and took everything in stride. There are no surprises from him with time off, just saddle up and go for a ride. Mater meets you at the gate always does whatever is asked of him with a yes please kind of attitude. He sells at the Diamond McNabb Ranch Horse Sale in Douglas WY on June 4th, 2022.
