Description:
Montana is an 8 yr old, 15.2 hand, 1300 lb Bay ranch gelding. Bred and used on a reputation Montana Ranch for all ranch duties. This is a big stand up, stout made, strong as an ox, ranch gelding that has a ton of looks. Montana will catch and hold anything you rope with ease. He is cowy and will watch one in the pens sorting and stripping. Wears a #2 shoe, but quick footed and can handle himself like a much smaller horse, big stopper and works off his hocks. He will be very good outside in any terrain, and been used in some big country tending lots of cattle. We have had Montana since the first of the year and I like a lot about this horse but he has not been a pet. He can be big eyed on the ground but he’s very good on his back.
