Description:
A family favorite around our house, Lonesome is a beautiful hided buttermilk buckskin crossbred gelding. He has a lot of substance, foot/bone, and a good wither. In our eyes Lonesome has all the great crossbred characteristics and you don’t need a ladder to get on him. A big soft kind eye, a good mane and tail, and one of the best demeanors you could ask for. He is a gentlemen to be around and loves people.



We have exposed Lonesome to many things. He’s seen many trail miles and lots of cattle. He’s traffic safe and handles gunfire and silly shenanigans, including tarps, balls, and silly obstacles. Lonesome is brave over trail courses and handles anything you throw at him. He crosses water, bridges, and deadfall.

Lonesome lopes pretty circles and picks up both correct leads. He sidepasses to open and shut gates, backs up with ease, he walks on a loose rein and carries himself well. He has a nice floating strided trot, as well as an easy going soft lope. Lonesome stops very well, and will stay put until you ask him to step off.



We have used Lonesome for a little bit of everything, we believe that he is old enough to stay seasoned, yet young enough to last you a long time. Lonesome is gentle at heart, he was born that way and should always stay that way.

He is great in the pasture with other horses, and he is the first to meet you at the gate. We trust him and we’re proud to have him.
