Description:
Romy is a 2018 AQHA grulla mare with a really good mind and a nice, quiet demeanor. Currently stands 14.3hh and should mature to 15.1hh. She is easy to catch and wants to please. She has been in the same home since she was a long yearling and has had extensive groundwork. She has had approximately 60 rides so is still green but coming along nicely. She is not chargy, has not been loped but will pick up a trot easily when asked. She had not been ridden all winter but saddled up and rode around just like it was yesterday! She has no vices but she does have sensitivity in one ear due to a large tick getting in there last year and causing an infection. She is easy to bridle and takes a bit well but you have to be careful around that ear, although she is getting better about it. She is sound, but needs to be kept shod or trimmed as her right front tends to turn in. It does not affect her movement and the vet told us she can be ridden as you would any other horse. She will be a very nice all around horse with a little more riding, and when you are done using her she will make a great broodmare as she has a nice set of papers and great color. Unfortunately, finances force her sale and she is being offered at a price well below what we feel she is really worth.
