They are the ultimate bomb proof haflinger/paint cross riding and driving team. They are dynamic and super fun ponies. They don’t get any more solid than these 2. They are a bonded team but neither one has an issue riding or driving away from the other one. They drive as good as any team you’ll find and will work just as good single as they do double. They stand like perfect gentleman to be harnessed and hooked up. They have pulled a feed wagon, pulled a wagon on trail rides and they’re bomb proof to drive down the highway or in parades. When you drive them single either one can pull a smaller wagon or a 2 wheel cart. Either one or both will pull a sled also. They are the perfect pair to learn to drive if you’re just starting out. They are broke to death and both guide around easily. They are super kid friendly but also big enough for an adult to ride if they want a shorter horse. They will ride in the indoor or outdoor arena comfortably. They pick up their leads and lope circles well and both have a good stop. They both have ridden in English tack. Both will go over small jumps. Kids of all ages have ridden them. They are great ponies for the kids to use on the ranch to help gather and pen cows. They can help load trucks on them. They can take off alone scouting for strays. They can even take them swimming in the pond. They stand on them and practice Roman riding. You can also jump on either of these ponies bareback with a halter and ride them anywhere. Pancho and Lefty are the ultimate trail riding mounts. They’ll navigate anywhere you want to go through thick timber, across water, up the hills, across bridges and over logs. They will ride together, in a group or each will ride off alone. They are perfect to pony beside another horse and if you have a tiny kid that wants to ride either of these boys are safe to pony your precious little one on. You can also use either of them to pony off of. Ride one and pony your kiddo on the other one. They truly don’t care and are happy doing whatever you want them to. We have used them in our program for events, parties and ceremonies so they have been exposed to large crowds of people, loud music and crazy commotion. We have hauled them to our new sister property on the lake and ridden them all over the trails there. They have been being used by our friend for therapeutic riding and are super patient with the handicapped kids. They are good with the kids moving around on them and comfortable with a side walker. If you’re searching for a pair of ponies to drive and ride that have flashy looks, manners, are bomb proof to do anything with and are affordable then Pancho and Lefty are the perfect team for you. If you have 2 kids that each need a horse these boys are the one stop shop for you. Or if mom and a kiddo each need a horse same deal you found both in one place. Both stand for the farrier, tie, bathe, load and haul. The reason these guys are so cheap for what they are is Lefty had his left eye removed years ago from an injury. It doesn’t phase him in any way driving or riding. He’s lopes and turns left just fine. He doesn’t spook or shy on that side. He has no issue with you getting off and on even though he can’t see you. You don’t have to tiptoe around him or be worried because he’s not. The kids run up and pet him on that side. The price is for both ponies and we want to keep them together as they are brothers and always been together and have a bond. Pancho is 17 and Lefty is 15.
