Pistol is a 4 year old, 15.1 hand AQHA gelding. For the past year, he has been my personal horse. We have trail rode him and camped overnight, where he stood on a picket line for days at a time. He has been hauled to team ropings and was used to push steers back up the return alley. We have started doing slow work with the hot heels on the headside and he’s taking to it great. Pistol is very cowy and is great in the pasture moving and checking pairs. He was started in stockyards penning cattle at weekly sales. Pistol has the makings to be an extremely talented performance gelding and has the mind to be used for lessons. He takes both leads and will lope off from a walk. He has a natural big stop. Loads, bathes, and stands for the farrier with no issues. He has no vices. He has a cosmetic scar on his left hind leg on the inside just above his ankle.
