Looking to apply my detail oriented skills and adaptable personality to fulfill the needs of both my clients as well as employer. Personal Experience: - Served in the U.S. Army as a Combat Engineer (12B). Successfully completed one combat tour overseas working with a special counter terrorism team looking for and detonating I.E.D.’s. Also trained and led a team of 5 soldiers upon completion of overseas tour. Worked as the Battalion Commanders personal driver. - Ran approximately 3,000hd of yearlings, doctored yearlings, spayed heifers, sorted and shipped yearling on the Beaver Creek Ranch in north west Wyoming. Additional task I was responsible for included fencing, flood irrigation, vehicle maintenance, and any improvements that need to get done around the ranch. As well as lining out day workers on where they would be working for the day. The ranch also has 400hd of mother cows that I help tend to which entailed, brandings, processing, weaning Andy shipping. This ranch had both BLM and privately own land so grass and water management was another important task. - Pen rider/ feedlot cowboy for Simplot land and livestock at the Grand View, Idaho location. Duties there include but where not limited to identifying sick cattle in large groups, cutting sick cattle out horseback, sorting cattle and returning them to their home pen once healthy enough and moving large groups of cattle. - While working for Red Barn Horse and Cattle I bought and sold cattle both in sale barns as well as privately. Worked closely with the customers setting shipping date and setting delivery dates. I have an official resume that I can email upon request. I’m looking to move closer towards hill country area but open to anywhere in Texas. I have 3 years row crop experience as well. I have lots of references. I do not smoke chew or drink alcohol. Single but I do have one well trained bird dog and usually 2-3 horses( currently just one). I have been on some of the biggest outfits in AZ, large farming outfit in west Texas, large yearling outfit in Wyoming and small ranch’s with absentee owners in the Texas hill country and feed lot in Idaho.
