If you like riding, guiding trail rides, and taking care of horses, this can be a dream job! We feed, care for, and exercise the horses, facilitate safe and enjoyable trail rides and equine experiences for guests, and help out around the ranch with whatever is needed. Requirements: -Extensive experience riding and caring for horses (prior wrangling and lesson teaching experience preferred) -Excellent customer service and prior job experience in a customer service related field -Strong work ethic and self-motivated -Able to work a physically demanding 40-hour week in all weather conditions, mostly outside, with a lot of time on your feet or in the saddle -Able to mount/ dismount easily from the ground -Able to lift up to 70lbs -Safety-conscious (first aid/ CPR certification preferred) -Excellent teamwork and communication skills -"Can do" + "Go with the flow" attitude -Enthusiasm for your work -Openness to constructive feedback and a love for learning -Willingness to help out with other ranch and event tasks as needed -Driver’s license and clean driving record (experience driving trailers preferred) -Background check required -Must be 18 years + -5 days on 2 days off per week, must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays We are a small team and work hard, but this is such a fun and rewarding summer job where you will gain experience: riding a variety of horses on incredible trails, helping and coaching beginner and experienced riders on the trail and in the arena, learning new skills in caring for horses, working in a pleasant and respectful service environment, operating small equipment, and helping on a guest ranch! Housing available for the right candidate and pay starts at $18/ hour depending on experience.
