One of the prettiest red roan geldings around. ( he slicks out the most gorgeous strawberry roan in the summer) He checks off all the boxes of things your looking for in one! He’s 6 years old, GRADE, standing at 15.1 hands, made right all the way around and can pack anyone! An old soul for sure. He’s got the biggest mane & tail and big solid feet. Not only does he have the looks, he’s got the brains and personality to match! He’s user friendly for the whole family!! He will take care of everyone. GENTLE GENTLE GENTLE! We’ve used Mac for all aspects of ranch work! From branding, shipping, and sorting to checking pastures, dragging things in the trailer and doctoring sick ones. He knows what a days work is like. We’ve been using him at the cow sale 2 days a week in a fast pace environment and he handles all the commotion and craziness well. We’ve roped stuff outside on him and he will work a rope. In the arena he’s tracking the dummy on the head side and shows tons of interest! We have started heading steers out of the box and he is talented. He will make a head horse in no time. Mac would also be great for someone learning to rope, he will track the dummy slow and easy. He is extremely willing and wants to please. Anyone can get along with him! Use him all day or let him pack the kids, he will take care of them! The kids can completely ride him unassisted and he will do anything that is asked. He’s extremely broke and light in the face. He’s got a great handle on him, will turn around and stop, side pass, open and close gates. He’s got a big smooth lope and carries himself well. He rides around really pretty! I can’t say enough good things about him. Mac is a blast to just hop on and go anytime, he doesn’t get fresh or have any funny business whatsoever. He rides down the trail quiet & alone or even in a big group. He crosses water, steps over big logs or any obstacles in his path! We haven’t come across anything he can’t do! He is great to haul, stands tied to the trailer quietly, has big good feet, and gets along with everyone he’s turned out with, he’s not mean whatsoever. He has clean legs & doesn’t have a single blemish on him! Current on teeth & worming! Absolutely no bad habits or vices! Vet checks 100% welcome at buyers expense!
