She is very well broke and confident. She will make a fantastic and willing partner for any rider in any discipline. She rides both English and Western and has tons of potential to make an excellent horse in any direction in which she is taken. She will fit a beginner rider as a pleasure or trail horse, or a more experienced rider who wants to finish her training in a specific discipline to compete in. She is a naturally pretty mover with an exceptionally nice walk, comfortable and balanced trot and smooth canter. In an English saddle, she works well through her back and has a very fancy and flowing trot. She lopes slow circles and goes over jumps without hesitation. She picks up the correct lead in each direction without a problem. She has been ridden over jumps and used as a lesson horse by a 10 year old girl. In a Western saddle, she can be ridden one-handed and neck reins with ease. She lopes slow and controlled and has a really nice stop. We have started her roping the mechanical steer both heading and heeling. She is SUPER talented and has the potential to make an excellent rope horse on either end. She breaks flat and runs right to the steer into the correct position every time. She never gets excited or tries to run past or away from the steer. Her head position allows you to see your target through the entire run and gives you a good shot every time on either end. On the head side, she stays free after you throw your loop and has a nice move in the corner. On the heel side, she is easy to ride through the corner and gets her back-end underneath herself to stop as soon as you rope the back feet. She stands quiet in the box and is not scared of the rope touching any part of her body or legs. With the correct introduction to roping live cattle, this mare will make an excellent and fancy looking rope horse. She also rides great outside and on the trails. This young mare has the perfect combination of a great mild with an athletic body. Nothing bothers her. She is ok with loud noises, tractors, ATVs, cars, trucks, other animals or anything else that you may encounter when riding outside of the arena.
