Jewel is built correct with a large hip, good bone and feet, straight and clean legs, baby doll head, blemish free, good minded and that Palomino color with chrome! Jewel is easy to catch and friendly, good ground manners, loads, ties, good with her feet, soft in the halter, moves her shoulders and hindquarters, lunges, backs, good with a tarp and flag, good with and has been handled by kids, bathes, clips, tries hard to please with whatever you ask of her and has a solid foundation under her! This filly is smart and athletic, will be cowy, lots of natural drop and draw, we have a natural stop, quick footed with smooth transitions, easy going and gentle to be around on the ground. Sire... we’ve owned, Cats Shootin Gold, since a weanling and picked him out of a herd of 20+ foals at 6 weeks of age. Even then he had the looks and makings of a fine sire, and is proving himself still worthy of that position today. ’Banner’as we call him has been a true testament to our breeding program and selectiveness in horses. He’s short and stocky, with excellent bone and good muscle, lots of eye appeal, athletic, and has a gentle, easy going disposition. I started him myself and he was just so kind, and easy. Absolutely no buck and took everything with willingness and so wanted to please. He’s been used extensively on the ranch and has made a solid ranch and arena horse. Ride out with a bunch of mares, and he won’t bat an eye. He’ll watch and work a cow, natural big stop under him, soft and has a lot of feel, roped cattle and knows a hard Day’s work. He’s been rode by kids and novice riders, and is good natured.
